Raceways Halloween Horror

Last Saturday an army of brave runners took part in the Raceways Halloween Horror Run. Participants ran either a 2 mile or 4 mile route in the dead of the night. There was pumpkin soup and fancy dress galore, as well as a few spooky surprises (well, we had to get into the Halloween spirit somehow...)

The prize for best fancy dress costume went to Alison Ramsey. Alison received 2 tickets to  visit Warwick Castle which were kindly donated by the castle.

Pumpkins, pumpkins, pumpkins

The night ended with some delicious pumpkin treats. The pumpkin soup was made by Carmen Barreira, the yummy pumpkin pie was made by Joanna Welch and the pumpkin cupcakes and pumpkin ball brownies were made by Annie Loney. The pumpkins were donated by Simon and Rob at ASDA Leamington. The french bread to accompany the soup was donated by Greggs of Leamington. Thank you to all of you for helping to feed our hungry runners!
