Fundraise for Kids Run Free

Kids Run Free has made it even easier for you to help raise money for us!

For 2013 we have created our own  Virgin Money Giving Page - this allows you to raise money for us without the hassle of downloading sponsor forms and collecting the money yourself - it can now all be done online!

So we thought we'd get you started with some helpful tips and suggestions!

1. Maybe you fancy setting yourself a personal challenge? Skydiving? Bungee jumping? Sponsored silence? Chest waxing? Basically anything goes...

2. Perhaps you're not the best organiser so why not let us do it for you? Each year our sister company Raceways hosts several sporting events - 5km, 10km, 20km and half marathon runs and this year a middle distance triathlon! Why not get sponsored to take part in one of these events?

3. Maybe you could ask friends and family to make a donation to Kids Run Free as a way to mark a special occasion such as a birthday or wedding?

4. Why not use the classics - bake sales, car washes, fancy dress days or simply shaking a bucket - they are always popular choices!

What ever you decide to do we will support you 100%

It is always worth encouraging supporters to set up a monthly donation to Kids Run Free this can also be done through our Virgin Money Giving page!

January Update

Hi everyone!

Happy New Year to all of you lovely Kids Run Free supporters. Our first events of 2013 started off great, lots of eager runners turned up last weekend to get the New Year off to a healthy start.

We were really pleased that local MP Chris White turned up to our Leamington Spa event to show his support, and even more pleased that the Coventry Telegraph turned up at our Memorial Park event to take some photos of all our little runners.

Smiles at the start line

And they're off!

Now for a little update:

Starting next month we will no longer be giving fruit away to our runners, instead all participants will receive stickers. Wild and Free (the company that have been donating fruit to our runners) will continue to support our cause through donations to Raceways Events.

Also, next month our Leamington Spa events will be held at 9am and 10am, we are hoping to gather information about which time is more popular, so come along at either of these times.

The LoveSport RoadShow will be relaunching next month at 2pm at the Leamington Spa KRF site. The LSRS is being rebranded for children with special educational needs and their siblings - we can't wait to get on board!

That's all for now, see you at our next races on February 2nd!
