Hello everyone! All of us at the Kids Run Free are over the moon following our last weekend events (and not just because the sun is finally shining!) Our June events were particularly special as we had some great turnouts. A record breaking 82 kids turned up at our Coventry location. At our Leamington location we had 80 children join us, including 6 new runners - so a big well done and welcome to all of our racers, both old and new.
June also saw the launch of our latest race location - Nuneaton. We were overwhelmed by the response we had from local families. We were joined by MP Marcus Jones and the Mayor and Mayoress of Nuneaton. And of course our trust mascot Joey was also there to cheer on all the little runners. Welcome to all of our new Nuneaton kids!
We’re really proud of all of the children who wake up early on Saturday morning to come along and race. We’d like to give a special mention to Charlotte who is 7 years old, Charlotte is a very dedicated Kids Run Free runner, June marked her 5th time at a Kids Run Free event and she managed to reach her best time ever 2:42 - well done Charlotte. Let’s see if you can do even better next time!

Another special mention to a completely differenct Charlotte now - Charlotte Knight who is 4 years old comes to our events with her mothe Mel. Charlotte has been so inspired by her time at Kids Run Free that she is even thinking of taking part in the Bupa Junior and Mini Great Birmingham Run. We’re so pleased that we’ve inspired Charlotte to take part in even more sporting events - well done Charlotte!
